The Best 3-Way Active Monitor In Its Class

The Footprint01 is an active 3-way speaker that embodies Barefoot Sound’s signature design philosophy. It incorporates key technologies found in the renowned MicroMain and MasterStack monitor lines, such as Dual-Force™ opposing subwoofers, a dual ring radiator tweeter, and Multi-Emphasis Monitor Emulation™.

This model features dual 8-inch opposing paper-cone subwoofers, a 4-inch aluminum midrange driver, and a 1-inch dual ring radiator tweeter, all derived from Barefoot’s high-performance product lineage. Its unique speaker geometry places the midrange driver above the tweeter, creating a focused acoustic center within the cabinet.

The speaker’s 2-way DSP crossover powers dual Class D amplifiers, delivering 500W to the subwoofers and 150W to the midrange and high-frequency drivers. A passive crossover network handles the transition between the midrange and tweeter for seamless frequency response.
